    Washington state exemptions

Wild Card Revised code of WA states:
$3,000 of any personal property (no more than $1,500 in cash, $500 bank deposits, bonds, stocks, & securities/$200 limit if debt owed to state agency)

What is your take on bank deposits, does than mean they can't touch your last 500 in the bank?

Found this. Looks like a person can have 500 bucks in a bank account that creditors can't touch if I am reading this correctly.

    Washington state only.
(II) For all other debts, five hundred dollars in value may consist of bank accounts, savings and loan accounts, stocks, bonds, or other securities. The maximum exemption under (c)(ii)(B) of this subsection may not exceed five hundred dollars, regardless of the number of existing separate bank accounts, savings and loan accounts, stocks, bonds, or other securities.

I am so very glad they revised that up from the $200 total of before. At least there's the chance of having most of a rent deposit and 1st month saved if BofA decides to lift the stay when we file and expedite foreclosure.
