    Need Info Please

Can someone please tell me where I may find the federal exemptions regarding filing chapter 7. I live in Michigan and wanted to do a comparison of Michigan vs. Federal exemptions and I cannot find it. How much property am I allowed to keep???? Also, if you do not use all of your exemptions on say your home can you use that for your cars???

    Federal:
$20,200 for real property, including co-op or mobile home. Unused portion of homestead to $10,125 maybe applied to any property. Married couples filing jointly may double all exemptions.

Is that what you're looking for?

Yes, Yes, and Yes... that is exactly what I was wondering. Thank you so much!! How much money is one allowed to have in one's bank account the day the petition is filed? Can anyone answer this. Thanks again for the reply!
