Not Sure How to List Personal Property in CA

    Hello,
I'm filling out my schedule B and making my personal property list but I am not sure what the $525.00 per item means(System 2 in California). Is it just any one item you list cannot be valued over $525.00 like living room couch or is it all furniture cannot be worth over $525. Why wouldn't I break it down piece by piece then(geez-I'll be doing this til next month)

Thanks for all of your kindness and help! I am so glad I found this site!

If it says per item, it is per item. Couch=up to $525, End table= Up to $525 etc. Break it down piece by piece. Are you going to file pro-se or do you have an attorney?

BTW, those values should be yard sale prices. Unless you JUST bought some VERY expensive furniture (and I mean JUST bought it) you shouldn't see anything over $50
