They don't make it easy to understand. An attorney will be able to determine which is best by looking at your particular assets.Comment

I am in alabama, when i looked at the exemptions it said nothing about a car. My husband is giving up his car in the BK so we are looking at an older used truck for him to use. We are only looking to spend no more than $1800, but we dont want to turn right around and pay more to the trustee to keep it. He found a 1979 Ford truck for $1550 that runs great believe it or not. We will be filing next week. We also have another truck , a 2009 Ford, that we are reaffirming that is mine.Comment
