Does anyone know the exemptions for guns in Texas? I know that the total value is 60,000 but is there a limit to the number you can have? If so, could I have that number of them in my name and my husband in his name?

Texas is a community property state so no - I don't think you can do what you are wanting if you both file together which most people smartly do in a c prop state.
Now say the guns were your husband's before marriage, or gifted to him via an inheritance and he didn't file, then I think they'd be out of bounds to the trustee because in this case they would be personal property, not community property.Filed Chapter 7 Pro-Se May 29, 2008
