Three cars

Seriously considering Ch 7. One car is 5 years old and will be paid off this month. The other two are 9 and 15 years old.
No real assets at this time aside from household stuff.
Does it mak senseto transfer title on one of the older cars to my daughter?
One car is a rebuilt one and the other has 175k mileage and it really bought it for $1.
This is a trying time and I'm glad I found this forum.

Doesn't it depend on your states exemptions? Indiana where I am allows for a wild card of $8k per person which will way cover all our older cars. I believe knowing what your state allows is your first step.

Not sure about Mas exemptions but will check. Hope to meet a few lawyers today or Tuesday.

4 cars in Chapter 13

Good morning,

I havent officially filed for chapter 13 but I had a question regarding my 4 vehicles. Will they take my vehicles in chapter 13? I reside in Southern California.

1. 2007 Toyota Yaris - I owe 10K. Not included in the chapter 13.
2. 1992 chevy Astro - paid for - valued at $1,800
3. 1965 Mustang - paid. good condition - value $5,000
4. 1996 Geo Metro - paid. value $6,00

Unsecured $90K - lien stripping 2nd mortgage & CC debt - $290 payment
