after foreclosure + court sale, collecting agency starts calling, what to do?

I am new here,
lender took back the house at court sale date,
now, attorney office starts calling to collect.
what should i say on the phone?
only one lender, no credit card issues, or automobile issues.
I don't want bankruptcy, because affecting wife's job.
what are my next steps?
