Has anyone dealt with these guys before...they say they will not accept anything other than the full payment at once. I owe about $3,500 and I do not have it.

Hi JW! How are you? I thought you settled with nearly everyone. Please correct me if I am wrong.
I have not heard of these collectors. It does amaze me at the growth in collection firms these days. You would think with the number of unemployed and/or under-paid people, the CA business would be risky. Perhaps the return for CA's is increasing.
I would send them a DV. Unless they have a local attorney firm in your area, they are probably harmless (well, just an opinion.) Check this out.

They used o send me bills all the time, I ignored them and haven't heard for years BUT other medical bills were sent to puget sound collections and they were going to get a judgement against me which is why I'm now in foreclosure mess because I used. Mortgage $ to pay medical bills. I just pulled my credit report 2days ago and found a bunch of new debt just reaffirmed to me and I'm SURE they are from merchants. Obviously they know I paid the other collection agency and now want a cut
