My husband just got a letter today from a law firm that has been retained by Discover. The letter says no attorneys have reviewed our case yet (well, duh) but, you know, they want to make us skeered and quaking in our boots. But the kicker is this line in bold down right above the sign off:

Now you can pay online using Visa or Mastercard!

Gee, so I can just whip out another credit card to pay that off? Really folks? Seriously?

Oh, and these very people called us yesterday, started a message of "I am calling for so and so, if you are not so and so you should not listen to this message..." I picked it up in the middle of the woman reading that script and let her have a 30 second ear full of my 3.5 year old screaming bloody murder by the receiver, then hung up. Ahhhhh. I'd been waiting ages for my youngest to be having a tantrum when one of these bloodsuckers calls. Sweet vengeance.
