Case Number After Filing

Just curious.....do you get a case number as soon as the papers are filed? Asking because need to hold off a judgement. Filing summons response 3/30, figure I might buy 10 days......paperwork can be filed by 4/8 or 4/11 at the latest.

You do. My attorney's office emailed me with the case number about 10 minutes after they filed electronically. Make sure your attorney knows you want the info ASAP after filing.
