I spoke too soon - well almost. This morning the jerks that took over Discover called again adn I told them; I told you to call my lawyer, now, here is my file number and this is the last time I will deal with you. From hear on out these calls will be recorded and we will sue if I receive any more calls from your company.
I was bluffing as I don't have a recorder but will definetely get one if they call again. I would LOVE to take those folks to court after all the agonizing phone calls.
Tobee - Yes, it did feel good. Nokia - I hope they are not because the more they harass the wrong prople, the more money we will get out of them.
Oh, and this morning I found my recorder so I will be prepared if they call again!
have that recorder right by the phone......LOL!!! my dh...use to answer the phone and immediately take "control" of the call by beginning by saying.......this is a collection call i am receiving....this call is being recorded for the quality of your abuse...or professionalism....
what would crack me up...is usually THEY the creditor would start out this call may be recorded for blah blah...but when you tell THEM you are recording it, they say you can't do that....well in nj...it's legal...to record anyone under most conditions as long as two people are aware...usually that means you and your buddy standing next to you...not necessary the person being recorded.....and those recordings in nj CAN BE used in a court of law...
just going off a bit there...but i would knock them off guide and let them know....hold on...i need go get my recorder to the reciever...ok...got it on...now...continue...what were saying...LOL!!!!!!!
