Word of caution for those who are un(der)employed and have no medical insurance who want to file BK before your financial circumstances turns around to sleep better. Don't do it.
I recently moved out of my foreclosed condo. My dining room table was centered below the ceiling light fixture glass enclosure. Once the table was removed, I went to remove some debris which happened to be below the low ceiling light glass enclosure. I lifted my self from a kneeling position right into the light enclosure which shattered it into sharp glass pieces which one piece nicked my wrist causing a deep cut which caused a spray of blood. Required a ER visit to get stitches. $1300 bill. I estimated no more than $800 including the inflated costs of bandages, a anesthetic shot and x ray. If I had the insurance, the cost would of been half.
