i realized after i posted this over in the chapter 7 forum that this subject matter is most likely better suited for collections...although this situation transpired AFTER discharge.


2 MONTHS AFTER discharged MORTGAGE CHASE calls last evening!!

ok....so we ALL know how i type...so i'm really trying to keep up, but i finally ask her....


please slow down...everyone on bf forum knows i can't type...and i'm trying now to type while i'm talking to you...so if you could just answer my questions a little slower i would greatly appreciate this because i have to get all the information correct for my complaint to the ftc.....and let me type your answers in the appropriate little box thingys... so that way we can go thru this much more efficiently...

oh she asks...what ARE WE going thru???...i reply...oh...i was just getting my tape recorder going and i pulled up the federal trade commission site and i'm typing in the complaint as we are speaking so i can make certain i get this entire conversation correct...and frankly, from my end, the way i see it...you are in very deep doo doo...

here's the kicker...i called a government watchdog agency to help me get our names off the deed...we have an unlisted number...i called them and have been awaiting to hear back from them since aug 19, 2010. i told the woman i will TRUST you and YOU ONLY with our telephone number since she promised to contact chase and get this situation resolved........so what does she do???

she GIVES chase our phone number and the collections dept calls me.......RIGHT??? are you kidding me AGAIN?? i can't wait until tomorrow morning to call this watchdog government fraud agency....they are going to be mighty unhappy campers when i am done....since i'll go to washington dc if i have to now....

i'm like...excuse me...like what is it about the mortgage being discharged under a NO asset chapter 7 that you don't understand??? .....what is it that the little box being checked off stating WE ARE SURRENDERING the property, and actually did a very long time ago, that you do no understand??

i would NOT let up on her...she claims that a loan mod was started last month...i ask and whom possibly could have started that???? her reply...oh YOU must have....ARE YOU KIDDING ME???...HOLD PLEASE....

gets back to me....well we are not exactly sure how or who did the loan mod. really.....so now you have not only GHOST writers but have GHOSTS applying for loan mods on FEDERALLY discharged loans....my my.....we are slipping down the ladder....

I swear, I think at this point they (meaning creditors in general) don't care if they follow the regulations or not. They know they're digging themselves a hole, and they just keep digging. I guess they figure at some point they'll be that one big payday that'll offset all the fines and penalties.

your so right...they just don't care. and i think that's what absolutely gets my goat..or cow the most is that's the POINT!!!!

right????? we have FTC...we have all these government Watchdogs agencies...what the heck are watching dog shows??? since they certainly ARE NOT looking out for us?? the consumer....remember hey!! ME...I'm over HERE!!! LOL!!

ahhhh yes, what we have to look forward to!

the good news for us though, is really now OUR time to be professional but firm and let them have it!
