question about info to provide CA and OC

    Hello eveyone,
I had a quick question, I have an atty but I can't file quite yet (6 month look back issues) but was wondering if I should forward the calls to our atty (they said the have a department for that) for both OC and CA? Coming up on 7th months of non payment. I really dont care about the calls, don't answer them, but if I forward them to my atty, do you think that it may accelerate legal action, or decrease the chances of legal action. Do I have to also send a letter to them as well as mentioning it to them on the phone. Just looking for some advice...thanks

I just finished my third year of nonpayment to 6 creditors and have not been sued yet. The attorney we have been working with the last three years have not recieved any confirmed letters of intent to sue, besides the usual threat or "we will sue" type stuff that is almost always just a form letter anyone can send out.
It sounds like you have not done this before as most of us have not either but you get used to the feeling of frastration and guilt. My guilt was gone many years ago for many reasons. The frastrated feelings come from not knowing the process. I have been refering the collectors to the attorney to keep them off my back, but every six months my debts seem to get sold and the cycle starts again. I have settled a few debts so I like to put that carrot out there to see what they will say or do. I usually say something like what kind of solution do you have in mind. I get some good laughs and the funny thing is they always know its comming but they have to stick to the script provided.
In short just refer them to your attorney and they will take care of the rest.

Then relax and have a drink, but be sure to follow through with your BK or the collectors will start calling you again.
    11/23/'10-filed ch 13. 1/6/'11-341, confirmed. Below median. Plan completed 11/30/2015. DISSCHARGED 4/4/2016.JP
