We traded in a vehicle a month ago, I didn't make the payment on it, so then we fell behind on the payment, I have explained numerous times that the vehicle was traded in and the dealer will pay off the car, etc. It's amazing that they keep calling, and tell us the same thing, then I tell them the same thing. I've asked them to stop, and was told they are a CU, they can call as many times as they want. The dealership has been giving me the runaround, so I guess the truth finally came out this a.m., they inflated our credit scores to the new lender and they rejected it. I racked up over a thousand miles in my new ride so far. They lied to us about the payoff on the trade in so many times, it's obviously the check wasn't cut. Crazy way to do business.

Some dealerships will let you leave with a car... without any financing in place. I have purchased all my vehicles with pre-approved credit so I have never experienced this problem, but I can see it happening.

I don't know, hit myself with a blunt object over the head? We are current on our bills, mostly anyway, and yet Chase has called my parents in a different state. They have my information, why would they call my parents? I'm about to blow up here. We have them take payments from the checking acct automatically, so we are not behind. Do they contact your relatives to embarass you or what? I'm already stressed out and having physical symptoms from that stress as is.

Chase sucks. Anyway, I have my wallet out and am cancelling cc's. Macy's offered me a 15% savings coupon if I kept it open, lmao, wow, what an incentive. I'm a little sad, had that card for 15 years. Pottery Barn and Kohl's are going to really hurt, getting that PB was like a badge of honor, but since I am tempted to charge on it, guess I should remove the temptation. Sniff, sniff.
