I think you can file chapter 13 as soon as your bankruptcy is dismissed but, if your case is dismissed with prejudice, you can only file chapter 7 again after 180 days. Unless the judge sets a different bar date for filing. But if it is dismissed without prejudice, I'm pretty sure you can file again right away.

If you are still with the credit card companies, you still have time...you have 60 days or more before things go from collection agencies to atorneys, maybe even longer (likely much longer). Who are the creditors and the amount for each?Take $10 billion from the government and then sue me...nice

we have discover ,amex,citibank,2 visa's and then gap, belks, macy's kohls-there are 3 that have 10,000 on them the rest have 5,000 0r less. Nothing was behind when we filed. Will they go back and want triple payments for the time we were filing? When do I know if we are dismissed with prejudice--the dismiss motion we got doesn't say with or without. thanks!

You need to talk to this lawyer, she shoud try and fight this, or put together a plan that will work under ch 13. You have time before any legal action is taken if the cards are all with the OC. Just relax and ignore the phone calls.Take $10 billion from the government and then sue me...nice
