    Since you have retained attorney, you might as well give your attorneys info to the ones who are calling.

    A C&D is to tell the CA to back off, that I am not going to be a push over and that I know my rights, plus you have been put on notice not call again unless you want to be sued for that violation. The CA has two options, put your file on the bottom for future collection efforts and or send back to original creditor.

      I have gotten0 of these from my creditors. They are designed to scare you. educate yourself on your rights as a debtor & empower yourself to stand up to these scum's. I thought about sending the C&D letter months ago, but then they retained our atty & commenced giving them his number. The calls stopped, but three got past me before I could tell them about the atty.
