I hope this is the right forum. I am going to stop paying on a credit card issued by GE Money bank. GEMB also issues the Walmart money card. Will this be an issue? Is it possible for GEMB to take our money from the money card to pay the debt?

If you're worried about it, then use a different pre-paid visa debit card. There are other ones out there.
But my gut feeling about this is that GEMB doesn't have a clue about which customers could be cross referenced with their money card division. The left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing with most of these banks.
And remember, you don't need to do any of this pre-paid stuff until someone files a lawsuit against you. Until then, you can just keep using your regular checking account.The world's simplest C & D Letter:
"I demand that you cease and desist from any communication with me."
Notice that I never actually mention or acknowledge the debt in my letter.
