do collectors have a central database?

I was getting 30-40 calls a day for the last 4 months or so. I retained an attorney thursday late afternoon. Maybe two collectors have called since do you think they comunicate with one another?

No there isn't a central database, their finger just gets tired after a while

But really, they only want to share information on you, up to a point. Eventually it's a game of cat vs mouse (you're the mouse!) and they don't necessarily want the "other cats" to know which holes are the best places to look and which holes they've already looked in and come up empty.

That would be a such a smart idea... A central database with information sharing between collection agencies... It won't ever happen. From a debtor point of view, thank goodness.
