Well, looks like it's time to finish our chapter 7 paperwork and get it to our attorney. We received a summons yesterday from Bowman, Heintz Boscia & Vician --representing GE Money Bank. It's strange, it's one of our smaller debts at 3K, and we were only 5 months behind on it. Most of the rest of our cc debt hasn't been paid since last July. We were waiting for some OT to fall off our 6 month look back, it did -- and now we're safely under the median for chapter 7!

It doesn't surprise GE is moving quick they are calling me nonstop. They are definitely competing with Discover in number of calls a day. I've already answered the phone with each OC I'm behind on and told them I have no money sorry. Now, I just let it ring. I answered the other day and it was Beneficial (a personal loan I've had for years for 7k). That was the dumbest loan I ever took $175 minimum monthly payment and $118 of it goes to interest.
Told them I have no money and she wanted my checking acct info so I could set a date when I would have money. Yeah right. All of them I've talked to are nice and I know they are just doing their job.
