I received a summons by mail today and I'm trying to figure out how to manage my earnings from temporary work.
I receive my pay weekly and have been having it direct deposited. My employer offers a pay card, but it is one of my creditors (Chase). Will Chase take that money? Is it better to keep a small amount in my checking account to keep it open so that I can simply cash my paychecks?
I had thought of the pay card because the only check I use mostly is for rent. But, I can pay online and I thought the paycard would be an easy solution.
I don't have all of the money for my bankruptcy yet, but I am going to contact the attorney I've selected tonight. I should be able to file in April.
Please reply as soon as possible.
Thanks.
