Tell a tell a debt collector I'm planning to file bankruptcy? I have one starting to call me everyday but I don't have a meeting set up with a attorney until next week.

I did when I got tired of the same old questions. I had given my lawyer a deposit by then, and I gave them his name/number. Most of them, believe it or not, were nice and wished me good luck. There were a few who were complete a-holes though. I didn't get any immediate lawsuits afterwards as a result. -
Thanks! This woman said she showed we had $225,000 in a IRA ( I don't) and $10,000 in savings and $7,000 in checking.I told her if I had that kind of money I surely would be paying my bills.Also since she didn't even know where I banked I knew she was just pulling numbers out of the sky.Comment
