I really need some help, and quick!!! Target won a summary judgement against me. There was supposed to be a court date on March 17th, and apparently the judge saw no need for that and awarded them the judgement.
I reallyyyyy need to know what I can do to stop them from coming and getting my car. It is worth about 10-12k, and I want to know how long it will take them to get the "fifa". Is it days, or weeks????
I live in GA, and the summary judgement was issued on February 11th. I really thought I had until the court date in March. Can I do anything to buy a few more weeks?
I don't have anything in the bank for them to take, and I want to get my tax refund on the 4th of February and spend it on car repairs, vets, and a lawyer before I actually file.
Please help. I have been trying to search this site for answers, but really need some input..
