One of the best decisions we have ever made was dumping our verizon home phone service and switching to phonepower VOIP for our home phone.
There are lot's of VOIP phone service companies out there - they all have lot's of features and bennifits... I really just wanted to bring up one feature that many people may not be aware of...
- REAL CALLER BLOCKING
We have never had to deal with CA calls because the first time they call, we simply block them... from that point on, they get a busy signal and we never even know they call unless we go online and look at our caller log witch shows they were blocked.
800 numbers, out of state numbers... doesn't matter - we can block any and all numbers we choose. We even block calls that refuse to show their number....
At this point (less that a week from filing our 13) - our call logs shows we are receiving about 60 CA calls a day.... and yet, we never hear or see a thing. Our phone works normally and we never have to worry about who is calling when the phone does rings.
Just wanted to remind people that there isn't really a need to put up with CA calls if you don't want to...
