    Nope, they wont do shit.

I lawyered up in Jan 2009, stopped paying my creditors same month I got an attorney. Every creditor that called with a blocked number was not let thru by my service provider (vonage), which forced all of them to identify.

I Spoke with all the creditors telling, informing them of a pending CH7, they asked & got the atty name & number, plus a big happy good luck for them getting TARP money.

Finally filed in Oct 2009, and not a single peep from any creditor. I got enough time to spend my refund on a low mileage used van, got newer furniture, upgraged the family clothing, kept the rest in a savings acct that survived the Federal exemptions ($10K), and life goes on.

I now have more money in savings than when I had EXCELLENT credit/Fico score...LOL!
    2009-Jan: Retained Atty
    2009-Oct: Filed Ch7
    2009-Nov: 341 held
    2010-Jan: Discharged on Pacer
