Nationwide credit

I have not paid my American express account in 5 months. Just received letter from collection agency ( Nationwide credit ) .

Send them a DV letter ? ? None of the other cc have turned me over to collections yet . How long before they might sue etc ??

I plan on filing in a few months . Thanks

AMEX sent me to one in FLA and I told them I won't discuss my AMEX debt with them when AMEX still owns the debt and they have left me alone. What I mean to say is they have only called me twice in three months. I get statements from both the CA and AMEX. I don't owe very much-about $600 on two accounts combined.

I pulled local court rulings for AMEX and everyone I pulled was vacated after they got a default judgment. Doesn't sound as if AMEX is doing very well in my county. Unless vacate means they have closed the case and not set aside the judgment. Anyone know?

My AMEX charge-off first went to Nationwide Credit. I ignored their calls and letters. I did send them a limited C&D (asking to only contact me in writing or at xx number..NOT to call me at work). Soon after, the account went to NCO. They call daily (home, cell, work, etc. and have called my parents and even my EX-SIL (divorced my brother nearly 17 years ago)! I am filing soon.

I stopped paying in September.

I have the pleasure of being with NCO too, for AMEX!!! Just had an incident yesterday with them calling my parents, sent out a dv and told them to no longer contact anyone, but me, and that they have reached me and no where I am located. They are quite the gem!!!
