After researching Chase history in my court (only 2009) here is what I found.
1) They have sued thousands...
2) It takes them 6 to 9 weeks to file with the court the "proof of service"
3) Approx. 4 months after filing a dismissal request is filed by Chase or by defendant. (settlement or BK probably???)
4) After clicking on dozens of cases I finally found one when they request a default judgment. They obtained the judgment approx. 6 months after the filing date.
5) After clicking on dozens cases I finally found one where the defendant answered (within 30 days of Chase filing the proof of service with the court approx 3 months after the filing date) and the case is scheduled to be heard on March 2010 (case filed in August 2009)
I will wait for them to file the proof of service and than answer... looks like filing in June (or settle) is clearly possible.
I would link the case but I am not sure if that would be proper?
