Capitol 1 has such a nice spirit...

Wonder if that spirit has to do with the fact that I haven't paid them for 3 months?

Where's that spirit for those that are struggling to pay the bills Cap 1?

Why does that spirit usually charge us to pay our bill?

Huh? Curious minds want to know.

I received this one from Bank of America today...

        'TIS THE SEASON TO GIVE

Thank you for being a Bank of America credit cardholder. This holiday season, Bank of America would like to remind everyone that this is a season of giving. Despite recent economic problems around the World, we invite you to remember the true spirit of the season... which is giving.

As of 12/2/2009 you are currently 60 or more days past due on your VISA ending in 9999. What better way to show your holiday spirit than to make a payment today. Our elves are standing by at 1.800.732.9194 everyday until Christmas from 7AM to 12Midnight (eastern standard time). Just think, by making a payment, you clear up your credit line for more giving! Why wait. Do this today!

This message is from a service machine and is not monitored. Please do not respond to this message. Contact Bank of America at 1.800.732.9194 for payments or to report a lost or stolen card.

(NOTE: this is humor. I did not actually receive any e-mail from Bank of America or any other creditor asking me to pay, since I'm in an active Bankruptcy and they are precluded from doing so under the Stay.)
        Chapter 7 (No Asset/Non-Consumer) Filed (Pro Se) 7/08 (converted from Chapter 13 - 2/10)
Status: (Auto) Discharged and Closed! 5/10

So are the going to show you current or is this an offer to not show you as being 2 payments past due?

Looks like the banks are willing to tell the truth as they see it if you pay them enough money.

Pay no attention to anything I post. I graduated last in my class from a fly-by-night law school that no longer exists; I never studied or went to class; and I only post on internet forums when I'm too drunk to crawl away from the computer.

I don't want a box of candy. I want her direct 1-900 number.
