They didn't bat an eye at my offer to settle for 15% on a $7,200 debt.

I think they'll take less.

Not that I intend to settle, bankruptcy is still the plan.

Well, I did. Every one of 'em. Mostly I remember the last one. The wild finish. A guy standing on a station platform in the rain with a comical look in his face because his insides have been kicked out. -Rick

Do you think they understood you to mean 15% OF the debt, or 15% OFF the debt?

Chase is the new Capital One.

filed chapter 13..confirmed...converted to chapter 7...DISCHARGED!
