    Frontline/5 day written notification?

Is it a law that they must send written notification within 5 days? I have been getting calls from Frontline for weeks with no letter. When I finally talked to them last week they were very annoyed that I said I would talk to them until I received something verifying who they were. He wouldn't commit to it until I asked "if that is not a legal requirement, and is this call not being recorded"? Lo and behold, I got a letter Saturday. Sent a DV Monday.

Its not new. Its 5 days from first contact and it is a FDCPA violation if they do not send the notice. At least you got them to do the right thing!
