        I was just curious who had dealt with them and what the experiences were. I made the decision to stop paying on all unsecured debt and will file for BK at some point, but I was curious how quick these guys might be to start the lawsuits.

          Depending on the amount and when the charges were made, you might be looking at 6 months to a year, or not at all.

          None of our unsecured creditors bothered us. It was two secured loans that tried to sue us. We had about 36K on one MasterCard and about 5K on the other MC. Our major problems were medical bills and legal bill defending against frivolous lawsuits.

            We have not used a credit card in about two years, and there were no cash advances and no rediculous purchases...

              Because it was a way to keep them from pursuing us further, but our situation has deteriorated further, I will likely stop soon. I want to pay everyone back, but it is getting more and more unlikely that I ever will be able to...
