    Finally heard from BoA....

My 3rd missed payment with them, they finally called, I just gave them my attorney information, BoA was surprisingly pleasant, the person even said they were sorry to hear about the BK, wished my luck and said I hope we can do business in the future when everything settles down for you.....

    Ya thanks, but no thanks.

My attorney told me they are going to make a offer to settle, I said well that would be great, but

1, I dont have any money to settle with and

2, I would then have a 1099 heading my way and more taxes to pay, of which I dont have any money, so no, I cant settle...

Oh well I should file in Oct. and be done with everything soon, I hope.

I missed 1 payment and the calls have been non-stop. Maybe as many as 15+ per day. I can't wait to pay our retainer today and tell BofA the lawyer information.

15 times a day, damn. I was very surprised that they waited so long to call in my case.

albacore, IS the BoA account an old MBNA account? BoA did sell my charged off MBNA aocount to CACH. I DV'd them, via some out-of-state atorney colleciton firm, and I never heard from anyone again. The JDB reports the collections to my credit reports, but the notation clearly states the account is under "consumer dispute."

Perhaps, it would be good if they sold your account. The collection process starts all over and so does your right to DV and C&D. Time is probably on your side.

Well the card was B of A, but this letter is from FIA card services, same people i guess. Actually I feel like answering the letter and saying 'please do" what took you so long ?? haha

                  Hey Treehugger

received a final letter on my 2nd B of A card, saying they would be selling the account on 9/29. This was on B of A letterhead and not from FIA
