No contact all since fist payment was missed, I did check my spam email and found one from them telling me to call them about a "urgent matter".

I figure if they want to talk to me they can call me.....

That is all you have to do, if you attorney said it ok, which to me with what they charge for a BK they should all accept collection calls for their clients. So, make sure the attorney said it's alright, nothing worse then giving out an attorney's name and they won't take calls for you, so do ask. If someone calls, simply ask would you like my attorney name and number, most will ask if it's for a BK, then when you answer yes, they will ask what chapter, I always told them C7, I was never rude or nasty. They took all the info, and they do call the attorney, I asked ours one time. Anyway by doing this, they quit calling. I think when you have an attorney representing you they realize you mean business. Anyway, don't worry about it too much. Creditors aren't near as nasty if you tell them the truth, don't avoid them, they will try to track you down and some will go to great lengths from what I have read to do that. I got a call at work one day before I started answering the phone at work, so did my dh. That was that, I never avoided a call at home again, and even when I saw a 1-800 on our ID when I got home from work, I would call them immediately. I really didn't want anyone knowing our business and this method prevented that.

Yes my attorney said that I could refer all calls to his office about these debts. I asked him that day I put him on retainer.

I fielded calls from one creditor for a month before I told them to call my attorney.

I allways answer my phone IF I am home, if I am not home, I cant answer thats why I have voice mail, leave me message.

The only time I dont answer is on my days off, which are normally during the week, those days I unplug my phone. I dont like calls on my days off, it is a habit I have had for years.

Even if you do call them, what they have to say is not listening to.

And if you answer the phone, what they have to say is not worth listening to.

When you can get blood out of a turnip, please let me know first and then you can give them a call.

P.S. I hope you use their blood.
