        Usually you'll have to pay one of the background check services to dig that deep. If you know the county the person lives in you can typically search the local court records free of charge.
        Well, I did. Every one of 'em. Mostly I remember the last one. The wild finish. A guy standing on a station platform in the rain with a comical look in his face because his insides have been kicked out. -Rick

          holy crap. I did a search on a guy I knew in HS and his picture came up in the california's sex offender database for sex with a child under 14. I always thought he was strange

            That's good news that people would have to pay for info like judgments. That would prevent most people from casually snooping. I live in Los Angeles County and to search court records by party name it's $4.75. It's not much, but most nosy people wouldn't pay even that. Thanks for the info.
