341 was nearly 2 months ago and....

Sexy Sheila is still calling from Valentine & Kebartas, Inc. for Dell Financial. I have called them, my lawyer has called them. It seems that one person doesn't know what the other has done. When I tell them this debt was included in the ch 7 bk, they proceed to ask the same questions. Hot Hank even asked me one day, why I hadn't let them know about the bk. I almost lost it on him. I told him I was looking at a copy of all of my bk papers and they are LISTED, what more did he want.

So anyway, after I talked to Ms. Sexy yesterday. She ended the call by saying that she was going to give my laywer a call. FOR WHAT???? What a joke that my smallest debt would be the most annoying and persistant. Oh and they continue to report on my CR the late payment status. They've even updated since I filed. WTH???
    Filed BK on 3/27/09

I think Ms Sexy was politely taking a jab at you by implying they may yet file a creditor's objection. That's why she mentioned she would be talking to your attorney. But it sounds unlikely they would file an objection at this late date for a small amount. It sounds more like she was annoyed with you because she made herself look bad and wanted to take a parting shot. She realized they no longer have any influence over you. Just ignore them and look ahead towards your new start.

Be sure to tell them you are recording your calls for quality assurance purposes. They'll not want to talk much after that!
Well, I did. Every one of 'em. Mostly I remember the last one. The wild finish. A guy standing on a station platform in the rain with a comical look in his face because his insides have been kicked out. -Rick

I found Valentine and Kabartas to be one of the worst CAs I had to deal with. I spoke with Cole, and no he wasn't very sexy. He was so nasty and hateful. He was one of those that seem to take your debt personally and was like a pit bull.

I hope this debt wasn't assigned recently by Dell to this debt collector. If it was, it looks like Dell is still trying to collect on this debt.

Yes, it looks like Dell is trying to collect...to the very end. But ela805's 341 was on 4/29/09. The time limit for creditor objections has almost expired. If they haven't filed an objection by now, odds are they aren't going to. Because they'd still have to serve him to file an objection. The only way they could serve at this late date is, if GA allows for service by mail and they go by the date of mailing. To be safe, I would be like the Invisible Man and disappear, until the 60 days are up and hope they didn't use a crooked process server who claims you were served.

When the 60 days are up, call the Trustee's office and ask if any creditor objections were filed. If there are none, you're home free.
