How Many Calls A Day Do You Get?

some of my 22 cards just passing 90 days. at first it was citi-chase calling mostly. then wells fargo seemed to be relentless, sometimes every 15 minutes, and i can always depend on the 1 call from Hot Linda at cap 1 daily, but this week the calls dropped way off less than 5 a day.

Albacore44 you have some good times ahead I think you and I have almost the same creditors except I don't have Well Fargo,but I do have Citi,2 Bank of America,2 Cap 1,GEMB,Chase and some medical who just sued me on June 26th.

Watch out for Citi they were going right to litigation at 180 days.
I had an attorney representing them call me and they were preparing to file for a judgment,I told them I was filing ch7 on the first of July gave them Attorney info and they seemed to back off for now.

I'm not sure if it was a bluff or not but I didn't want to find out.

Since telling everyone I'm filing my phone has finally went dead,I need to check it every now and again to make sure it's working.

I must say it's really nice though.

Citi huh....guess we will see. got a happy talk letter from them yesterday listing all my accounts including my mortgage, asking me to contact them so they work out a deal on all of the accounts. i'm not late on the mortgage. got a stern worded letter today from GEMB, threatening to impose the terms of the contract, what ever that means. they must have got word of my c & D letter i sent to Encore, who the assigned to collect. just got to make it to january to file.....6 more months, I think I can as some of my accounts are just passing 90 days late

Just keep a close eye on Citi as you near 180 days they become not so friendly as you near charge off.

I can't be certain if the so called lawyer that called me was a bluff or not but it didn't matter as I,m filing today so they can all go and pound sand.

I think DH and I have 5 accounts with Citi. 2 accounts in my name, 2 accounts in dh's name & one joint accout. I believe I paid 2 of the individual accounts until Dec. 2008. The rest, I didn't pay the October billing.

I haven't received anything but normal Citi monthly Statements. No CA or JDB letters on any of the accounts. Hmmm, 180 days? Well, hope we make it until we file Chapter 7 on 9/30/09.

BK Attorney did say for $60 on each Case possibly filed, he would be able to delay any Court Cases until we get our bankruptcy filed. Sure hope he knows what he is doing LOL!

I hope everything goes well for you,I'm sure everyone's mileage will vary, sometimes I think everyone's case is different with these creditors.

But I am nearing 180 days on all my accounts and received a call from someone threatening judgment by Citi, they backed off when I told them I was filing with in the next 2 weeks.

I have answered the phone this passed week and told everyone about filing,my phone as been dead since,and it couldn't be sweeter.

I'm sure you and you're DH will be fine no cause for concern,you're wait is not that much longer.
