    Sending a DV out, but delay it a bit.

    Would it be beneficial to delay sending out a DV letter, so that you are within the 30 days notice period, to draw things out in your favor? Kind of like filing an answer with the court within the 20 day mark or so?

    I am new, so pardon my question about what a DV is? Thanks.

      DV = Debt Validation.
      Golden Jubilee was a year-long celebration held every 50 years in which all bondmen were freed, mortgaged lands were restored to the original owners, and land was left fallow: Lev. 25:8-17

          If it's the local CA here in my town, I wait until 20 - 25 days to DV.

          In terms of national creditors and CA's I usually send out the DV and include a C&D sentence within a week after receiving the dunning letter.

          In terms of delaying future action, I doubt it makes a difference if you wait. Each CA has it's own business model.
