Question about 2 different accounts w/ Chase

Okay, I have a WAMU credit card that was bought by Chase and the balance is around $1600. I also have a Chase card that has a balance of around $16000. From what I have read it seems like Chase is quick to file suit and that it would be fairly easy for them to do it on a card whose balance is under a certain amount. Has anyone had a Chase card with a balance under $3000 that never got sued?

They will always sue, the better question is WHEN will they sue.

My wife has a Chase Account under $3000 that was last paid in October, and as of yet, no suits have been filed, ::crossing fingers::.

We had 3 Chase cards and didn't get sued on any of them. Went unpaid for 9 months. Least amount was $165.00 and the most was $3500.00.

        Good luck.

We had a Chase card with a balance of over $6000 and they did nothing. After about 10 months of not paying we decided to file bankruptcy. If it is any consolation, I never talked to them when they called.

How often do credit card companies sue...or do they always forward (sell) the debt to a collection agency after like 6 months?

I really think it depends on the card, your history with them, and if the sun is shining that day and if someone spit in their coffee at Starbucks. There is just no rhyme or reason.
