Although, to even search through it they charge you $4.75 per search to reimburse the court.

In Oregon small claims go to $7500. Once a judgment is entered, it can take only a few days to have a writ served on your employer. This can be accomplished by the attorney filing the writ. No lag time here, and I have the experience to prove it. Here, it may be 10 - 14 days after the writ has been served on your employer before you even receive a copy in the mail. If you are paid once per month, then chances are you will have a head's up. If you are paid once every two weeks, then you may not know until your paycheck comes up short.

What's a trillion here or a trillion there between good friends?Well, I did. Every one of 'em. Mostly I remember the last one. The wild finish. A guy standing on a station platform in the rain with a comical look in his face because his insides have been kicked out. -Rick
