I was surprised the court is in Utah and I am in Arizona. Surprising that oh by the way was built into the card agreement, althought the card agreement was dated 3/07. As for the summons, there is no account number, date account applied for, etc., actually there is nothing but a card agreement.

Process serving is the worst profession known to man. I am the kind of person that likes to open the door for people, help people with groceries, give the homeless person or the starving musician a dollar..bring them Thanksgiving dinner no matter how bad the neighborhood..I don't care if the worst case scenario goes down. if I helped someone it's cool

Yet in the world of serving papers, that normal world dissappears

      Everyone is against me
The neighbors want to prosecute and arrest me
      The cops are after me

I hate this new viewpoint of the world I have acquired after having been a process server....I have nightmares...most of them are related to serving papers and getting shot or attacked

      They are the strangest dreams

Now I can't trust anyone anymore.....I feel everyone is trying to take advantage of me because I'm too nice

      AND I HATE THAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Or I guess that's what the enablers in my family say..most people say I'm a good person don't listen to that.

Sometimes I feel that my father dying is a result of bad karma from all the people who's lives I've ed over serving papers

Not all of the time. In our area, we have licensed process servers that are court approved to serve documents.

Their tactics are more aggressive than when done by court servers, but they are very legit. Their ability to serve depends on it.

It sounds as if you would have been better off asking people to simply not talk to you about the process server beyond that they came. Of course they are going to play psychological games with you much like debt collectors will. It sounds like he did what he sought to. He got in your head.

Not to say that just getting it over with was a bad thing. Just that I'm fairly sure that this is what he intended to do when he asked your co-workers/employees to relay the threatening message.
