I had a long response, but its no longer worth my time to waste it. You have issues Comptweaker, others like Treehugger have explained the same thing as I have and pointed out the pitfalls. And you still come back with an excuse "I lost my job" and then you ramble on about NAFTA and other crap.

You seem to be fixated on the fact that 15 years ago I owned a repossession agency and did some collection work. Whatever, I just happen to know a lot more than you about how all this works, its that simple.

So, you come here ask for advice or make statements and get responses that you don't like then go on a rant to those people. I can't help but notice he said things that are very close to what I have said and some parts are more detailed yet, you don't attack him. This forum just like other forums, have a golden rule not to make personal attacks.

I belong to another forum in which 2 of the members love to flame members especially those who are board sponsors. Some of the abuse that some have taken from these 2 individuals is almost unimaginable but the board realizes that by banning those 2 individuals, they will only come back reincarnated with a worse attitude then what they had before getting banned.

When attacks become personal, everybody on the board gets hurt. The ones who really get hurt are people looking for specific information and all they get is rhetoric.

I am sorry for rambling on but I hope events that have happened in this thread can be minimized.

At that point, you have to do more than ban the person's IP. You have to ban their entire subnet starting at xxx.xxx.

That way when their IP changes, more than likely you will cover every single combination. Keep doing this on every IP they come in on until they go away.

I apologize to all who have read this while seeking informative advice and stumbled upon some disagreements that unfortunately got personal. Im not trying to get banned, nor do I wish to see anyone banned from this thread. Heated discussions and below the belt comments sometimes occur. In the end, we're all grown ups here. I can take the heat, bite back, and move on. Hopefully he can too.

Everyone just needs to get back on track and quite trying to outdo the other as to thoughts, experience or expertise - no one is better than anyone else on this forum. All situations are different. No one shares the same feelings or thoughts but all have been in are are currently in financial problems/issues. People get defensive when bills are due, money short or a job lost. Also, I find it funny that one poster in this thread is taking a stance about how some people come into forums/threads to start trouble when he himself physically threatened another poster on here recently in another thread when there was a disagreement. That was caught by several posters and I am not certain if the post was removed.

Not only did the poster threaten a person, he threatened to purchase a gun, kill himself and take others with him to make national news. The post, although eliminated, was reported to the proper authorities.

Hey, Im all about business and wish the forum owners well, lol, but I'm not trying to get eyeballs for them, I'm just a man with opinions. And I'm pretty sure the owners would consider a porn section here if they wanted more eyeballs.

As cool as porn would be, it's way off topic. Many people here are bible thumpers. They would lose more traffic by having any porn-related popups, forums or anything of the sort. I'm not for or against it, but I know most people are against it.
