Hi, Well capital one just called me and he kept saying lets set up an online payment. I kept saying you need to contact my attorney and he kept saying i cannot take any information. Now lets set up a payment schedule. 1st of all I had trouble understanding him cause I think he was from India, secondly he kept repeating myself, I finally said well i am willing to give you the attornies phone number and if you call me back i will sue you for harrassment. What else can I do to piss them off, like they piss me off. Aren't they suppose to take down your attornies phone number and information?? What an a******. an they get in trouble for not taking my information?

Next time ask to speak to a supervisor if you really want to provide info.

First of all - no creditor has the right to BS you into setting up online payments. There is NO law mandating online payments to anyone.
Next time they call just mention that, and tell him (if a HE) to call up LOrraina Bobbitt for a date. If a SHE tell her what Cheney told a senator on an open mike on the SEnate floor a few years ago.

cap1 is awful. i had many frustrating, cyclical conversations with them. the good news is that if you just don't answer the phone any more, after about 6 months they leave you alone .

Tell them you can make a payment on February 31, 2023. If you still have online access, go in and change your number to the local escort service. Change it to a different place everyday. If they don't want to listen, have fun with them.

They can hassle you all they wanted but the fact they are from another country is part of the problem. Like someone said, tell them you will only speak with a supervisor and make it an American period. Tell them flat out, "I can't understand you and I want to speak to an American." Basically they are just trying to get a payment and and are giving you the run around. When they call back don't even bother with the customer service person go straight to a supervisor who speaks fluent English.

The pity of it is that in many cases, the caller is from a third-party call center that is located offshore somewhere--Customer NO Service, as Clark Howard calls it.

I always joke with my wife that Chris, who always calls me is becoming a good friend of mine.

I am going to return his call tomorrow and I'll let everyone know what he says. I am about 60 days late now.
