Golden Jubilee was a year-long celebration held every 50 years in which all bondmen were freed, mortgaged lands were restored to the original owners, and land was left fallow: Lev. 25:8-17

Went back and spoke to the detective from the Inspector General's Office. He told me when he showed the general manager of the dealership the paper he filled out stating the odometer reading of the car when he retitled the car, the general manager almost filled his pants. The detective told him it was a felony to fill the document out without knowing the real odometer reading. Then he showed him our title to the car which showed no liens. That almost made the general manager almost pass out. The detective said if the dealer doesn't get this resolved within a week, he will retitle the car as the owners and the dealer as the lienholder and then the dealer and I can go to court to see if a contract can be worked out.

The Detective also got after the dealer for trying to repo the car. They tried repossessing the car again this week. The Detective also got after the dealership for reporting the car stolen. The detective called the local police station and told them that the car is not stolen and we can not be arrested for this. He also told the dealer that if me and/or my wife did get arrested, he (the dealer) would have been in a whole lot of trouble.

The dealership now claims the bank, for some unknown reason, electronically debited the dealer's bank account for the amount of the loan. So what I wrote to the dealer's lawyer was a proposal:
The problem the dealer has is with the bank, not us. We did not take the money from their account. The dealer should be dealing with the bank, not us and if the bank feels we have an unjust enrichment, then the bank should go after us, not the dealer.

For some unknown reason (?), the bank called us twice almost begging us to come in and sign a loan paper at their office as opposed to the dealership.
maybe cause they've been cashing those car payments you've been sending in? ... and recently realized, um...we don't have an active loan on this person but we've been accepting payments... oops

this thread is so much fun. come back, Big Boy!

Forgot what state you are in. Good to see our public servants are carrying out their duties to protect the public. So what's with the car - are you still making payments to the bank, hiding the car, or what?

No need to worry BigBoy2U, I should never have start this thread; this way I would not have to listen to your ridicle. I don't plan starting new post nor commenting on existing post so you don't have to worry about how you are going to ridicle me today.
