    Online access blocked for CC

I stopped paying in january, filing in April/May. I went to check out the CC acct and it's been blocked. Does this mean they'll be trying to sue sooner? Or is it just a way for them to try to get people to call?

I am just very concerned that we'll get sued before we file. We are waiting because we are currently over median but have a baby due in 8w which will put us $8k under. So I'll be bringing the paperwork in to the lawyer in about 6w and letting them know once the baby is born so we can file.

If you getting ready to file, they say "don't throw good money after bad," save whatever money you were going to pay to the creditors and pay the lawyer off instead. I think it takes awhile for a cc company to sue, just keep putting them off, for now you'll get letters and phone calls. Congrats on the new coming arrival. Best of luck filing! If you have other credit card companies you access on line. Go and grab as many monthly statements you can before you get cut off - you never know when if you might need them and its a big hassle after the fact. Just be prepared.

I'm 9 months behind with 20 creditors. Many cut my online access at 4-5 months and some replaced it with a message to call them for account information. No summons yet.

In most states it takes several months from the time a summons is deliver until any action to garnish wages or raid bank accounts start so you should have time to file BK in a couple months without any issues.
It's not what we have in our lives, but who we have in our lives and the quality of those relationships.
