Okay, so I realized over the weekend one of the loan companies I have stopped paying has filed to sue me. Well according to the website the court date is on the 20th March. Well, I have yet to see the paperwork. I have read over the post and I am not sure what the process is. I owe them like o' 200.00 true insignificant but they have filed. Not sure what the balance is now.
So I am thinking okay I am sure they have to notify me via served paperwork that they are taking you to court right? I kinda been expecting it. Well this afternoon this guy in a rather nice vehicle with a clip board comes banging on my house. The front door, my windows, pretty much anywhere he could find to bang. Mind you I am on the phone with a customer. I was thinking what in the hell is going on. You would swore my house was on fire and he was warning us to get the heck out.
So, I tried to distract my customer and finish my call but I couldn't just put them on hold to go tend to company. I am thinking gessssh.
So I guess this guy will come back tomorrow. Hopefully I am not on the clock and go get the door. Do I just accept the paperwork and tell him thanks? I dunno what to say.
I have been trying to stall the sharks at bay until I could get the monies together. But they are relentless.
Thankfully today I found out that the job I left full time outside the home that I could have 25% of my 401k . Kinda upset that I have to give it up. Its around $2000.oo not alot but definitely on my way to saving for retirement. However, I only get that if I rollover. If I cash it out I only get $795.oo which is 5.oo short of my entire filing fees. So, with that being said and now being almost poor as poor can be because I am not making the same amount of monies I was do you agree I should just cash out and file? I mean can they bring that be used against me in some way?
I also want to say Thank You!! You guys are a wealth of information. I wish I had found this site years ago. I might have filed sooner. But I do believe everything is within its own time.
