Can't Believe It!!

Okay, Now I guess I will experience it all. These gals trying to collect there monies are taking out all stops. Now they are calling me from home and using other peoples cell phones etc. I have all kinds of numbers coming across the caller id. LOL kinda funny actually. I set up the phone to block all unidentified callers so I guess they figure if I dont answer one number I will answer another. Whats even worse is they all called on Monday saying I had until five pm to call them and make arrangements or they were taking me to court. Today they all called back same story saying I had until Friday to call them back. I was like geesh which one is it. I dont know how they are going to sue me anyway they cannot garnish independent contractor wages can they?

I don't know but I remember back before I filed ch 13 in 04, I missed 2 Citibank MC payments and the collection calls started immediately. They had me in tears trying to get me to get a 2nd mortgage on my house to pay it. Then they started with the lawsuit threats, which I figured was just another way to scare me into paying. They actually said I was going to be "jacked" if I didn't give them a post-dated check! So I did and it bought me some time, but I put a stop-payment on it. I was trying to do one of those credit counseling deals but Citibank wouldn't accept it. A few weeks later we filed ch 13 and within a couple days the lawsuit notice arrived at my door. Thank God for the automatic stay.

Ingenious Idea!!

Here lately I have been forwarding my calls to the house so I know for sure who is calling because of caller ID. But the calls are back to back non stop most of the day. So last night I was thinking why dont I forward my calls to another number like the Zoo info line or the weather time info line. So, I grabbed the phone book and tried to find a really good number. I found a number for the Zoo that is now disconnected. LOL so when you call my number it says the number you have called is disconnected. I dont know why I didnt think of this sooner. I figured I would leave it like that for awhile maybe they will stop calling so dang much.
