I received a call from a creditor yesterday. I have signed my paperwork and am just waiting on my attorney to actually e file. I received a call yesterday from a creditor asking for me. I said who is this. She said is this Mr.... I said what company are calling from. She finally told me. She was trying to confirm my address and I said before we go further I need to let you know this call is being recorded. She said I don't consent to being recorded. I said.. That is your right. However, I must terminate this call.. Have a good day. Hung up..

LOL.. I almost went after them by saying why don't you consent to being recorded do you plan on breaking the law and don't want a debitor to have proof??

"Can you speak up a little louder? I am recording."

That should put a stop to calls.
