Well, that is Texas for you, (why do you think everyone want's to sue people in Texas). I only explained what is most common, some states allow attempted service at the last known residence to be sufficient.

But as you pointed out "davids", time is really not the issue, its the judgment. Sounds like it is coming one way or the other.

I might be looking at a judgement in the near future myself, but I will not worry about it, cant afford to pay them now, nor will I be able to when they seek judgement. It was for $1250 breach of contrat, now they want $2,500
I think that is the most load of BS ive heard...I cant afford to pay the $1250 now, do you think i can pay just because it is now $2500, and this is the amount before any filings they may make... oh well, life sucks..

in the end, everyone will be hit up for Chap 13... and the attorney wants $2000... $1000 to be paid upfront, and the remaining in the Chap 13...hell,
      I dont even have $1,000

life can be such a catch 22

Yeah, I undersatnd it's enevitable, but at this point in time I am trying delay the judgement as long as I can,....At least till the beginning of next year.

They will not always get the judgement! It never hurts to at least answer and show up. What is they don't show up? It happens and the judge can dismiss the case based on their no show. IF you can answer and appear, then by all means, do it. I would go with the above statement, "does not have sufficient information......" Never hurts to try!
