No, it wouldn't be 'better'. In bk - less is more. Act broke and underwater, you're trying to get rid of your debts aren't you? Why bring other people and questionable 'income' into the matter? You run the risk of trustee questions and possible dismissal when you get close to the allowables.

It all boils down to this, if I were on the TRUSTEE side (which I'm not), hmmm, "how much disposable income can I squeeze out of this person!" My significant has paid much of my bills and continues to "support me," when I need it, especially through my Bk "trip," she doesn't even live with me, regardless, I've never mentioned her on my Bk, I don't want the courts probing into my personal life LIKE THAT, especially another persons.
