We'll, we go that done and over with. Our Trustee was nice, just asked us the basic questions and then we were done. At the end she made a note by our names it said "case ??" I can't figure out what the last two letters were. Could be DM-dismissed, DC-discharge, NA-no assetts. It's driving me nuts!!!!!
We were the 3rd to be called. We thougt she would be in a bad mood because the first two called were frusterating. She needed an interpreter for the first and wants some of his tax money from 2006 because he made preferential payment to a sears card. The next was pro-se and they didn't have their bank statements with them and the statement for the day they filed. So, you could kinda tell she was thinking "It's gonna be one of those days". Thankfully, we had no issues and came totally prepared.
So, now we wait! Just wondering if she would update pacer today or tommorrow? Or do they not?
Thanks all for all your handholding and support. I told my husband I would be a basket case if not for this forum. Because of it I felt I knew exactly what I was heading into, even if there were objections I felt I pretty much knew how to handle them, so again, Thanks!!!Filed: 08/09/06

Va & Miss Puff
First of all in Va,
I am SO sorry about your cousin, how tragic. Her poor children....my goodness.
Miss Puff..
Is that "Miss Puff" in your Avatar? She is awfully cute. I have a big 'puffy' dog too, my confidant and pal!
Its funny as I have to either spend $130 every six weeks to have him groomed or do it myself. Ive chosen DIY as I dont have extra funds. the clipper blade cost a penny though I wonder if I can use them as an expense!
As for your stay at home mom worry, I have been scared to file because I stay at home with my 7 & 3 y/olds plus have an elderly mother to contend with. It stinks us SAHM are made to feel paranoid and unworthy isnt it? Like every time you have an issue with $$$ its YOUR fault becaue you stay home? Like you, I am a HS grad and I went to tech school and all, but if I went out to work it would cost more to hire babysitters /daycare than I could earn. I had a newspaper route while we had a second car but thats impossible now with one auto. It was the newspaper route that killed the car anyhow with worn brakes and non-stop flat tires!! Plus now my Dh leaves before I could get home. I feel like I need to 'justify' myself all the time. Any mother, working or not should not have to. Motherhood is hard enough!
Anyhow, please keep us updated. best of luck to you!

Hi Whatamess *waves*
Actually that is not Miss Puff. The kids happened to be watching Spongebob Square Pants when I signed up and well.... that's where I got it from. Everyone seems to be dog/cat lovers here so thought I would throw up a pic of my "Remy".
As far as being a SAHM.... I was REALLY worried about this. Someone said that as long as your children are in grade school (I think) that being a SAHM is acceptable. The Trustee NEVER even questioned my job or lack thereof. Have you filed yet? Do you know when your 341 is? You probably have nothing to worry about. But worry you will because that's what we do... we worry, worry, worry!!! My husband says he never has any worries because I worry enough for the both of us, lol.Filed: 08/09/06

CLOSED--TODAY
When I saw on Pacer this morning that my case was closed I just felt this huge sigh of relief. Like it's over, i'm done, I can move on. Amazing what that one word can do for peace of mind. I had to take an emotional moment. This has been one roller coaster ride I will be glad to get off.
Now I have to start rebuilding my credit, my marriage and hopefully soon get off the meds that helped me stay sane through this.
You have all be a tremendous help and it's with heartfelt appreciation that I thank you for all your support. I know I am not much of a "pro" bk girl but hopefully I can lend some support in other ways to newbies to come, even if it is just emotional support.
Anyways, today is the first day of the rest of my debt free lifeFiled: 08/09/06
